Deanna Russo

Kari Samantha, an American actor and singer who is most well-known for her role of Kari in the hit television show "Sliders". She released her debut studio album "Shiny" in 1999. She is from Connecticut began singing in her early teens and began to perform in nightclubs while a teenager. After 13 years of age when she started attending Wooster School for acting to learn after which she enrolled at several institutes to study acting. The first time she appeared on screen was 1986's romance-drama 'Fire with Fire.' A few years later, she made her first appearance as an actress on television as the character Joanie. Over the course of over three decades, she's amassed about 80 credits in films as well as television. She has also appeared in a variety of mainstream films, she is widely regarded as B-movie royalty for a considerable number of low-budget entries in her filmography. Wuhrer is also a former model as well as a former MTV VJ. She took home the Best Actress Award in 2001 at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival in the film comedy Do It For Uncle Manny.
