Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for over 40 years. Most famously, she is known because of her portrayal as Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s, beginning in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she acted on Broadway in various productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. In 1957, she also made her debut album named It's time to Tina. Louise made her debut on the screen in Hollywood with God's Little Acre a drama released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda who was a character from the movie. In the years prior to this, she studied at the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Louise joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise had a long and successful career balancing Broadway TV with Hollywood as well as portraying a more serious, as opposed to the glamour doll image she was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made her name as a director who has been successful in numerous well-known TV shows like Supernatural and The 100. She was birthed in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto to spend her youth. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver, Canada after her selection for the lead role.
